UPDATE 8.0 - Talents removed, cards & passives added


MAIN FEATURES:

With each level you complete you are presented with a selection of "Cards" to choose as your reward. This is now the progression system in the game and is most likely here to stay. These cards can include Spell Types, Elements, Runes, Permanent Stat increases(this will be in a future build) and Passives, which leads me to the next point. Passives:

Passives are just the new name for the lesser talents. You can now unlock passives in the game that are usually passive benefits that are a little bit more interesting then just some basic stat increases. These are designed to promote build synergies and to create interesting proc effects. You can only equip four passives at any given time and you can equip them via the new passives menu that you can access by pressing TAB.

TL;DR: Press TAB to equip passvies, you get something new with each level now instead of making your way through a talent tree.

  • Talent system removed for a new "Card" unlock system

  • The first level in the game is taking shape and is now playable.
  • You can no longer equip more then one spell at a time
  • Dungeon Builder now does a better job of avoiding repetitive rooms
  • Wind Missile and Fire Missile should now bounce correctly with the bounce rune
  • Missiles now have a bigger vertical hit box
  • Dungeon builder will now automatically position Health Pools around the level(this will feature power ups in the future)
  • Reset rune should work properly with explosive barrels now
